Caden’s confidence continues to grow in the game of lacrosse. Committed to Rutgers University, Caden is currently in his senior year at Bernards High School as a two-sport student-athlete for the Mountaineers. His team-first attitude and discipline are the values he takes pride in every day. As a lineman for NJSIAA North Jersey Section 2, Group 2, Champions, Caden looks to carry over the culture of hard work as a captain and goaltender for the lacrosse team, in pursuit of winning a state championship.
In an article from toplaxrecuits.com, Caden expressed his excitement and gratitude toward his future as a student-athlete at Rutgers University.
“The reason why I chose Rutgers was the history that my family has there. My Mom and my Dad went there, my dad played Goalie at Rutgers from 1988 to 1990. As a family, we went to many Rutgers football games, basketball games and lacrosse games. My 2 older brothers went there as well, Connor and Colin. Going to their games in Piscataway and feeling the electricity from the crowd when they scored, hyped me up! Also the education there is awesome, the support they have is great and the tradition as a team is one of the best.”

“I want to thank my family for believing in me. My mom taking me to all of my tournaments, my brothers motivating me before games. I want to thank my friends for supporting me in cage, shooting on me early in the morning, making me laugh and having a great time with them. My coaches as well, even Tri-State, thank you for helping me to become the player I am today, the long talks after games, the hype up talks before games and the one on ones were truly special and I will always remember that.”
